With Thanks to Xenon Pictures, we have 30 free tickets to give away to our members. We’ll also be meeting for a cuppa before or after the movie (depending on show times).  Visitors will need to secure their own tickets from the cinema.

LA Outback's friend Karen Greenly is facilitating this new, monthly Didgeridoo Jam Session at The Neighborhood Cup coffee house in Aliso Viejo, California. The staff is cool, the coffee is hot, and the didgeridoo vibes will be flowing! Everyone is welcome to play along or just relax and enjoy the grooves. This month, LA Outback’s skilled Didge player, Barry Martin will be holding a FREE beginners didgeridoo lesson! So bring your didge and play along.  All skill levels welcome

Been hanging out for some fish and chips or hearty pie?  Get together with some mates at our first Ventura County Event and enjoy some familiar tastes that you’d probably be missing right about now.  Funny how you crave for the strangest foods.  Fish and Chips and Meat Pies tend to be the most popular.  Well, that and a hamburger with beetroot. Oh and washing it down with Twisties and some Passiona ~ sorry didn’t mean to  give you Pavlov’s dogs response!!!   After you’ve had your fill of pub grub, chalk p the cues and rack em up for a game of pool and sharpen your aim for a game of darts.  After tonight, you’ll all feel like you’ve been home for the weekend.

This Boba -Creperie have had rave reviews since it's opening. It's in a lovley area with outdoor seating, just near the Coffee Cartel. You can also go there (CC) after lunch/late brekky for a cuppa and sit on the patio under those bright red umbrellas.

Who should come?  Visitors welcome and newbies too.  You should come along if you want good food at an inexpensive price, whilst enjoying some pretty fantastic company - even if we do say so ourselves.

For those who attended last year you know what it is all about (we have plenty of kayaks this year so we can all go out and paddle and play games as 1 big group), for those of you who did not attend last year, see below:
If you are interested in having fun, seeing some of our local marine life and in getting on the water (in the water in some cases)- this is the event for you!!!
You do not need to know how to swim we supply life jackets and will be paddling in sheltered waters.
We will visit the local sea lions, or play a game of sharks and minnows, or just take a leisurely paddle- you choose. We have multiple kayaks for double and single (and even triple) paddlers. Group limited to 20 people just for logistics.
All this for Free!!!! Just bring your sense of adventure.

5th ANNUAL AUSSIE CULTURAL DAY

Join us for a day in the park celebrating all things Aussie.

Lounge back on your arm chair under the shade of a gum tree with a snag in one hand and a hot four N twenty pie in the other, while watching these flamin galahs thrust around to the beat of a Peter Garrett song.  You’ll quickly be transported back to the aussie outback when you hear these locals belt out their best kookaburra call.  Have a didgeridoo lesson, or sit back and listen to skilled players haunt you with these ancient sounds.  

Kids can go make like the “Leyland Brothers” , and explore Australia on a treasure-hunt, visiting famous landmarks along the way, and discovering a booty of prizes somewhere in Australia.  Games of footy, emu egg and spoon race, boomerang throw and more.
